Bemis Woods South: On Ogden Avenue, between Wolf Road and I-294.  Enter at the Forest Preserve sign, bear left, and continue as far as the driveway takes you, to the west end of the parking lot.  Look for the “Volunteers” sign.

Brookfield Woods:  On 26th Street at 7th Avenue. From First Avenue between Cermak and 31st Street, turn west on 26th Street and park at 7th Avenue. We meet here and walk south on the trail to the prairie.

Cermak Woods:  From Harlem, take Joliet Road west (Joliet Road turns into 43rd Street).  From Ogden, take Joliet Avenue south, turn left at 43rd Street.  West of the Des Plaines River is Fisherman’s Terrace. Park at the baseball field.

Chicago Portage: On Harlem Avenue, just south of 47th Street, on the west side of the street--near the historical marker.

Kiwanis Park:  From Prairie Avenue where it crosses the Burlington Northern tracks (Brookfield train station), take Brookfield Avenue east to Village Hall. Park behind Village Hall and the restoration area is at the north end of the park.

Kloempken Prairie: On the campus of Oakton Community College, Lot C.

McCormick Woods: At 31st Street and First Avenue, northeast of the corner of Brookfield Zoo.  Park in the Forest Preserve parking lot on the east side of First Avenue just north of 31st Street.

Robinson Woods:  Des Plaines River Road & Lawrence Av.

Salt Creek Woods Nature Preserve:  On 31st Street, east of Wolf Road (Forest Preserve sign says “Bob Mann Woods.”)  Park on Downing north of 31st Street, two blocks east of the light at Mayfair..

Schiller Woods:  From Irving Park Road west of Cumberland Avenue, enter at the Forest Preseve sign that says “Grove 8” on the north side of the street. Follow the signs to Grove 8.

Sundown Meadow:  On LaGrange Road, south of 67th Street. Enter on west side of LaGrange Road.

Theodore Stone Prairie:  From LaGrange Road, east on 67th Street.  Enter at the Forest Preserve sign on the north side of the street and follow the parking lot all the way north.

Wolf Road Prairie. On Wolf Road, between 22nd Street and 31st Street. Go west on Constitution Drive and park at the historic Franzosenbusch house.
